Some impressions count more than others.

Verified Viewing by Proxx turns popular mobile apps into privacy-safe sensors to detect nearby TVs, confirming the number of people actually in the room, at scale.

Real-time. Session-level. Privacy-safe. No PII, no cameras, no biometrics.

Beacon lines run from the TV to each detected phone. Phones in active use are flagged distracted; idle phones are flagged attentive.

Viewership intelligence

Every room is different. Our AI can tell.

A per-TV ML model calibrates detection to each room individually, fusing motion sensor telemetry to separate real co-viewers from those down the hall, upstairs, or next door; and false positives are stripped continuously. The output is deterministic and session-level: people in the room, at this moment, in front of this glass — with second-screen behavior treated as a feature, not a blind spot.

There's levels to this.

Verified Viewing labels every co-viewing event with proprietary VV tags: VV1 for single-user detections, VV2 for two users, and so on; all the way to VVX to identify out-of-home TVs and create high-value deal IDs.

Co-viewing isn't static, it changes from across markets, dayparts, categories, and even household. Our VV labels keep up with it all, in real time.

Co-viewing at scale. At last.

Verified co-viewers per impression, a co-viewing index by content, daypart, and geography, incremental reach beyond account- and household-level counts, aggregate second-screen activity, and a real-time verified-presence flag you can transact on — all from one signal, across TV and mobile.

Privacy by design.

Verified Viewing collects no names, emails, IP addresses, account IDs, or persistent device identifiers — and uses no camera, microphone, location, or biometrics. The TV emits only an anonymous, rotating token, and no viewer is ever asked to change their behavior. Consent is handled on the phone. Every figure sits behind a floor of at least 100 people, with identity blind to all parties.

  • No PII
  • No camera, microphone, location, or biometrics
  • Presence, never identity
  • Consent on the phone
  • Aggregated behind a floor of 100+
  • Identity blind to all parties
